Haqq is a Nigerian Afro pop singer, songwriter and music producer. Born Sadiq Abdulhaq Anako in the beautiful city of Okene, Kogi State fondly called Oakland. At age 10, Haqq started his musical odyssey surrounded by his brothers, friends and relatives who were always listening to songs from various international artistes from 2Pac, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Michael Jackson, to name a few. Haqq started as a dancer and rapper, he used to perform under the name Mr Hizo. In 2009, Haqq founded ‘OkCity Boyz’ with two of his friends. They recorded their first single titled ‘Hey’ which gave them major recognition in their home town Okene. The group disbanded later in 2011 as Haqq decided to pursue school and further other ventures. During this time, Haqq took his music and music production to a higher level.
