    Bible Belt is an LA based indie rock outfit formed by Nebraska born songwriter John Dowd in 2013. Years of solo bedroom recordings finally led to Bible Belt's debut full length studio album "The Space Between Us" in October 2018. Produced and recorded by Neil Wogensen (Valley Queen), the album featured some of LA's best session players including Mike Deluccia (Percussion), John German (Piano/Keys) and Derrick Wong (Bass). A more permanent iteration of the band was established in summer 2019 and subsequently went to work to record a new set of songs. Again recorded and mixed by Neil Wogensen, the "Romance" EP features Tyler Grinham on lead guitar, Olivia Viangieri on drums, Kyle Fordham on bass and John Dowd on rhythm guitar and vocals. Recorded live in Neil's Highland Park garage studio, the EP features 4 new stripped down songs written by Dowd that address modern forms of romance in all its mundanity and indulgences.
