Forming in October of 2017 in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana, the power trio, Lip Candy, has been making waves throughout their local scene and throughout all over America.
Following their formation, the band first made ground with the release of their singles "The Culprit" and "Never Be the Same."
Lip Candy began touring throughout Louisiana, Texas, and California in the summer of 2018 and on June 15th, 2018, Lip Candy had the honor of playing a sold out show at The Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles alongside popular acts James Quick, and Neffex. That next month in July, 2018, the band toured as the opening act for Jimi Hendrix’s brother, Leon Hendrix for a few dates in California.
Following their return to college for their sophomore year and playing countless shows in and around their hometown of New Orleans, Lip Candy secured a spot opening up for In Her Own Words at their album release party in Los Angeles in May of 2019. In June 2019, Lip Candy will be recording a 5 song EP, co-written and produced by Blake Roses, the lead singer of Hopeless Records signed band Oh, Weatherly. New releases and live shows are planned in the future and so be on the lookout for what they're up to next!
The band has many things planned for the near future including new music and many more shows! Be on the lookout for them as they continue to make a name for themselves....more
