Shane Jackson, also known as Tuesday Knight, is an anomaly. In an age of mumble rap, Tuesday is making records that are more in the vein of early 90s hip hop.

Before making music, Shane pursued a different kind of success . From humble beginnings in NY, to Cornell's prestigious School of Hotel Administration, to a good job and promising career track, Shane had achieved everything he had set out to do, only to realize it wasn’t what he wanted for himself. His mind kept drifting back to his first love: music. So he left it all behind.

In 2016, Shane quit his job, moved back home and started making music out of his Mom’s basement. Dawning his new nomme de guerre, Tuesday Knight set out to make smart, introspective records that discuss socially relevant topics (all while maintaining that ever important commercial appeal). Though he’s off the 9 to 5, he’s still on his grind. His debut mixtape and album have garnered rave reviews, and he recently released a new single featuring fellow up and comer, Kota the Friend. With a growing fanbase and considerable industry recognition, his focus for the rest of 2020 is two fold: write more music and reach more people.
