Ben is the oldest of three siblings: brother Clint and sister Lynn. He grew up in an extremely musical family where he was taught that all styles and genres of music have attributes, and that an individual hearing would allow the listener to make their own judgement. He has played very many of these genres including classical, country, rock, big band, ethnic and latin.
