Colours in Context is a project created by 23 year old Manchester, UK-based producer Miles Whittaker in June 2020.
Fueled by Miles' love of ambience, texture and delicacy, Colours in Context quickly became a playground for him to experiment and find his sound. That sound evolved into an ethereal blend of beats, atmospheric vocals, pianos and guitars.
Since first falling for music upon hearing the Myst IV and URU soundtracks in 2005 and being enchanted, Miles started experimenting with production in the synthpop summer of 2012. He has since worked with multiple genres, in both solo and group projects covering Pop, Electronic, Ambient.
All that experience has made Colours in Context what it is today, and his wide range of influences continues to inspire him to find new sounds and ideas....more
