Diego Cool is a rap artist, actor, and successful entrepreneur based in Winston-Salem.

Born as Jacoby Rashad Conner, the artist originally hailed from Statesville, North Carolina. He discovered a passion and talent for music at a young age. When he was only in 9th grade the artist started taking music seriously. He found an inner-strength by using his voice as a vehicle for empowerment and artistic expression.

After school, Diego Cool attended the Art Institute of Charlotte where he developed his skill and expertise in digital film. Now, with his education behind him he has his sights set on breaking into the music and film industries.

Life wasn’t always easy for Diego Cool, and he often found himself in life-threatening scenarios that would have crippled the confidence of many other people. In 2014, Diego Cool survived a shot wound in his neck. This was a life-changing moment, which led Diego to an epiphany. Ever since this experience the artist is working tirelessly on spreading his music and message all around the world.

Diego Cool is a living example of the strength and endurance an artist needs to never give up and follow their dreams. Today, he creates world-class hip-hop with a nod to the classics of the genre, while retaining a refreshing modern twist.
