The Los Angeles born producer and writer first began his musical career as a DJ in the Los Angeles nightlife, working in numerous nightclubs. After joining a collective with 3 other DJ’s, Zil created his own production company titled 1044 Events. While in his first year of college, Zil befriended an up and coming producer on campus and they began to collaborate. After DJ’ing events and making beats, Zil began to focus primarily on production, writing, and recording sample hooks and melodies for other artists.
