State Your Cause was a five piece rock band consisting of brothers, James and John Scott (vocalist and guitarist respectfully), Deepan Rajah (guitar), Matt Young (drums) and Chase DeBartolomeis (bass). The band was started in Ohio, most members reside there except for their bassist, Chase from Jacksonville, FL.
The band’s music is a culmination of well crafted songs, undeniable hooks, and a vulnerable sound of life’s struggles and scars with an undertone of empowering expression of hope. Music with passion.
The band’s single “FAITH” had received major airplay on over 100 radio stations when it appeared on the nationally syndicated radio show hardDRIVE w/Lou Brutus while “Bring You Back” has been popping up on cage matches throughout the country.
Their album STEAL THE STARS was released on July 10th, 2012. The nine song selection has songs produced by Ben Schigel (Chimaira, Drowning Pool, Switched), Brett Hestla (Creed, Dark New Day, Framing Hanley, Tantric) and Nixon (of Framing Hanley)....more
