At the age of fifteen Jared aka Elijah The Great began making music with friends and uploading videos on YouTube. He found his sound through hip-hop/rap by writing multiple verses on covers and songs. Each filled with insightful lyrics and a aggressive tone he later developed an edgy, punk rock vibe to his sound. His brand of music can be considered to be amp rap or cloud hop. This was the beginning of him wanting to become a rapper.
In the year of 2018 he became depressed and was hospitalized for depression. Feeling lost he was unsure if he should still continue his pursuit as an artist. On the night of his release he tried committing suicide by jumping off a bridge from a high way. He was then rushed to the hospital for surgery. During his recovery he continued focusing on music and recorded new tracks everyday. He was able to document his experiences and recorded several songs along the way.
He is now fully recovered and continues pursing his dreams of becoming a well-known rapper. This accident has brought him a new perspective on life and is now able to connect deeply on an emotional level with his fans through his music....more
