Garfield Almando Woodstock - known to his audience as Grip Wrench is a very hard working artist who believe in doing good music to uplift and educate his fans Grip Wrench grow up in the city of Montego - Bay Jamaica where he started singing on sound system from he was small, in the dance hall that is where he learned his craft and the art of pleasing a dance hall crowd. Has his popularity grew he got the attention of big sounds operator who see him as a crowd pleaser and wanted him to work on their sound system he was very successful and worked amongst some of the best and soon after records producers started to take an interest in him and wanted him to sing on their rhythm he recorded a lot of songs that didn't get released until he started working at El Paso records shop in the late eighties and his boss at the time Mr. Elan Robinson realized how much he can sing and ask him to record a song on one of his rhythm.
