Lucy Bell places her own stamp on music bringing enthusiasm and energy with self-penned songs that portray both folk and pop leanings.
She was awarded Panarts Young Songwriter of the Year 2018 and went on to play in Belfast Nashville Songwriters Convention in March 2018. This award seen Lucy travelling to Nashville for music industry meetings, showcase concerts, a performance in the famous Bluebird Café and a television broadcast to be aired throughout America.
Her debut single ‘Paris’ was released early 2018, followed by Lucy launching her ep ‘valentine’.
In 2017 she was placed first at Holywood Harmony Festival busking competition. In 2018 she was overall winner at the Draperstown Busking Festival. Lucy has played at Sunflower Festival, Belfast Culture Night, East Side Arts Festival, Earagail Arts Festival, Focal Festival and in 2018 will go on to play at Atlantic Session Festival in Portrush. Lucy has supported Una Healey from the Saturdays and great Irish musicians including Cara Dillon, Stockton’s Wing, Saffyre, Duke Special and Malojian.
She has featured on Irish TV, Cool FM, BBC, Meon Eile, NVTV, BBC Arts Show X and Radio Ulster and featured in the Hot Press Magazine as a rising artist you should watch for.
