Granada is an Italian pop rock band from Rome. Fabio Mangiatordi (vocals, guitar), Alessio Corasaniti (vocals, guitar), Gianfilippo Bonafede (bass, backing vocals), and Lorenzo D’Angella (drums)formed the band in 2008. They developed a following in Rome after their first recorded demo, and released their debut E.P.“No Way Out” in 2012. “No Way Out” was successful and brought Granada to perform across the Italian peninsula. They opened for Motel Connection—Samuel Romano’s (Subsonica) second band—countless times and also performed alongside Hans Magnus Ryan’s (Motorpsycho) Bol & Snah. Granada will release its debut album “Silence Gets Louder” in 2017. The album’s nine tracks will span from indie to new wave. Granada’s songs are known for being linear, but with a sophisticated and layered overall sound.
