The San Diego based indie producer, Maximo, creates a unique blend of heavy floor shaking bass mixed with high-pitched analog synths. He has pushed the boundaries of traditional house and techno combining a sound of both catchy melodies and vocal hooks. Breakdowns that fill the room with dreamy trance-like elements that get you lost in the melody, however shortly bring you right back to that heavy drop – an energetic, yet timeless style to dance music.
Maximo has produced music in his bedroom, bus stops, hotel lobbies and even on plane rides for years. He dropped his first EP, “Dirty Blonde” in April 2019, inspired by a coast to coast surf trip across the continent of Australia along with some odd months being a surf bum in Bali.
After quitting his day job and starting his day dream, he flew from Oz and moved back to California only to start working aggressively day in and day out on new productions.
