Strange Hotels is an electro pop/dance duo from LA. The duo consists of estranged cousins and long time musical partners, Ben Braden and Nick Sadler. With their explosive live shows and compelling early recordings, they are quickly turning heads. Recording and producing music solely on iPads, they found time in air b n bs and apartment studios on the road to create their first release, Mixtape. The result is a mix of inspired, off the cuff tones and well produced and precise Pop. They recently released Mixtape II, a more evolved version of this unique process. Their music can be described as a wide ranging project that includes flavors of Dance, RnB, Electro Pop and Vintage Soul.
Strange Hotels moved to Los Angeles from Portland, OR in October 2019. They currently have a resident show every Tuesday night for an event called “It’s my Friday” in Hollywood, CA at the iconic nightclub Good Times at Davey Wayne’s.
In early 2019 Strange Hotels opened for Billie Eilish at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland and Treepeople at Neumos in Seattle, they have performed live in LA, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Boise, Minneapolis and many places in between.
