Shanta Atkins, sister to the Grammy Award winning Gospel duo "Mary Mary", began her professional singing career at 14 as a background vocalist. She has sang on on recorded projects with Mary Mary, Al Green, Kanye West and Dorinda Clark-Cole. She has performed on the BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, the Arsenio Hall & Jay Leno Show.
