Inquiri is the ambient-bass music project of Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Lacey Harris (aka Lacey IQ). Inquiri has two full-length albums to date: 2010's epic ambient trip hop excursion Walk For Miles, and the long-awaited masterpiece and collaboration with Japanese recording artist and classical pianist Mayumi Kaneyuki, Semi-Human--a harmony-soaked study in heart opening, in the format of eclectic, electronic dream pop, soft-released in 2014. Album number three is well on its way to release in 2019, along with plans to re-release Semi-Human on Concurrent Recordings--IQ's brainchild and newly-hatched record label--which will give voice to ambient, downtempo, leftfield dance music, and everything in between....more
