Brittany Jones (born April 28, 1988) better known as Britt The Ruler, is a down south lyricist, singer, songwriter and aspiring Tv Personality. Brittany, also known as B. Jones, grew up in Victoria,Texas where she attended and played basketball at Memorial High School. Brittany gained recognition as an outstanding basketball player throughout High School and AAU tournaments. She took her skills to Austin, Tx and played Women’s College Basketball at Huston-Tilloston University.
Intent on pursing a career as a music artist, Brittany moved to Houston,Tx to start building a foundation for her future. Branding herself as Slick Britt, B. Jones took a quick liking to the city's night life. After living and networking in H-Town for a few years, she decided to relocate in Miami, Fl to continue her pursuit of happiness as a successful music artist and reinvent herself once again as Britt The Ruler.
Britt the Ruler was inspired by H-Town’s Music Culture, as well as 90’s Hip Hop & R&B legends like Slick Rick The Ruler, Missy Elliott, TLC, MC Lyte, UGK, SlimThug, Paul Wall, Trae The Truth and so many more. While in Miami, Britt embarked on her music career by teaming up with Grammy Nominated & 2x Platinum singer-songwriter-producer Chris "C-Moe" Moore aka Mr. Moore Music.
