After a childhood ridden with poverty, death, incarceration, and hopelessness, Kahli Polk has been able to rise above it all through his current journey in the rap game as well as the acting world. Better known to the hip-hop community and most of his fans as “10K KOBEE,” the Chicago native grew up in the 8400 Southside area of the city before making his way to the entertainment limelight. He currently stars in the No. 1 Tv show in Chicago, 2 Brothers A Chicago Lifestyle, which has garnered millions of views on YouTube.
10K KOBEE gained an interest in music in 2016-2017, releasing his first single called “No Hook Pt. 1” with his former rap group, Savage Boy Gang. The group later changed their name to ABM (AllaBoutMoney), which led them signing to record label Music Stone Ent. in 2018. Soon after, the group decided to part ways with the label, therefore, creating a solo lane for 10K to pursue on his own, while promising to keep his group’s SBG and ABM legacy alive. Polk has also built up a following of over 10,000 followers on Facebook.
Fast forward to the beginning of 2020, 10K KOBEE has now signed with Str8drop Ent. and has goals of getting his family “out of the hood.” In May of 2020, he delivered the visuals for his April single release, “Reasons,” which was met from his loyal fan base.
