Born in Italy and based in Amsterdam, Alex Dam moves his first steps in the music scene during 2018, both as dj and producer.
After following the Dutch minimal deep house scene for years, Alex makes his debut at a renowned local radio station. This opens doors to the club scene, and sees him playing at sold out parties in Amsterdam's best venues such as Radion and Claire.
Groove Control Events residency and PIV debut gig at Colorado Charlie made summer 2019 dynamic and prolific. At the same time Alex kept fully focusing on his first solo EP, which was released in early 2020. During those hot months Alex and Zambiancki met on the dancefloor, starting soon their duo project. It got an intense flow since early stages. Combining their influences from UK rave scene and minimal microhouse they are shaping a personal spin of modern dance music.
Throughout 2020 the duo put out a collection of releases, landing on labels as PURISM, KINA, Deeperfect, Lacuna and many more. Their skills grew quick and soon allowed them to take on a major challenge: participating and winning the Tamango Records remix contest.
Alex and Zambiancki had their UK debut at the Lacuna showcase, shortly followed by more official parties in the Dutch capital. The two had the chance to play alongside worldwide respected artists as Chris Stussy and Ferro.
Many good things are on schedule for 2021 and their first vynil release is awaited for the spring....more
