Spastic Electric is an alternative band formed in Depok, Indonesia in 2019. The group consists of brothers Arya Palastra (lead vocals, guitars, synths) and Arya Vyasa (bass guitar, backing vocals), Yudhistira Indyka (guitars), and Natanael Kevin (drums, percussion). The band began as a project by the brothers back in 2015, going by the name of loudnoises., playing punk songs on their Yamaha music course concerts. In 2017, Arya Palastra met Yudhistira when both of them took the same major in Universitas Indonesia. The pair clicked instantly and formed a two-piece folk outfit by the name of PSYCHE. Looking to expand their sound, Arya Palastra and Yudhistira took to the internet forums and met Kevin, a high school freshman who plays drums but currently not in a band. After a brief meetup and a jam session, Arya Palastra recruited his brother to play bass and to solidify the lineup....more
