Synthwave music may have its roots in Nantes, but Morgan Willis hailing from the south of France has forged his own pioneering sound and style of the all-encompassing genre of Synth, Retrowave and re-imagined 80s music.
Releasing albums since 2012, Willis’s first foray into the synthwave scene began in 2015 with the album Night Rider. Critically-acclaimed Miami Calling came in 2016 followed by Sophie Teenage Dream (2017), Supernova (2018), Stay the Night EP (2018) and The Jenkins House (2019) to add to his stunning catalogue of Miami Vice-infused 80s electro pop.
Live performances has seen Morgan Willis take in cities as diverse as Paris, Cologne, Berlin, Frankfurt, Berlin and London with sights firmly set on the United States.
While no stranger to collaborations with artists such as Ollie Wride, Michael Oakley, NINA, Parallels and Futurecop!, Willis continues his rise with his 6th studio album released in early 2020....more
