Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, raised modestly by parents who instilled in her Christian values, Maggie Blanchard thirsted for freedom from the age of 14, and headed towards the world of music to fill her expectations.
Already at 16, Maggie Blanchard recorded her first 45 in Montreal and four years later, her first 12 inch was born. Here is Maggie, who indeed sang for several years in Montreal, New York and France in the company of renowned artists in the musical world.
Finally in 1989, Maggie Blanchard received the call of God and gave herself to the Lord Jesus Christ, to whom she has since devoted her life, her voice and her talents for the cause of the Good News. Maggie Blanchard strongly believes that true Contemporary Gospel music is not just a style, but a powerful instrument for spreading God's message of love and comforting hearts.

In November 1999, she launched her first solo album "Libéré" in Quebec, under the CIME label. For almost five years now, she has filled halls with thousands of people during her tours in Canada, the West Indies, France, Ivory Coast, Israel, Belgium, Switzerland, Tahiti and the United States.
In February 2000 "Libéré" which climbed to the top of sales Sephora (France) in less than a month after its release and remains there today, becoming one of the 3 best-selling albums of the French-speaking world in the 4 last years. In December 2002, also took part in a live recording with other artists like Tabitha Lemaire and Sébastien Desmarais, on the album EXPRESSION DE LOUANGES, which went to Sephora top seller within a few weeks of its release.
In addition, Maggie also supports underprivileged children in Haiti through the humanitarian organization World Vision by paying them a percentage of the sales of her album LIBÉRÉ.
