Having discovered a love for music as an infant, Sugarae is a British Rapper, Singer and Songwriter emerging from the West Midlands.
After taking on the challenge of mastering musical composition and production as a teen, Sugarae’s passion for music creation allowed him to gain exposure as a Grime Producer during the 2010s. DJ Big Mikee, one of Birmingham’s most prominent Grime DJs, assisted Sugarae with the release of, “Illusionist - EP”. This Grime influenced instrumental project was mastered by production heavyweight, Swifta Beater.
After taking a brief hiatus from music creation, Sugarae returned in 2020, successfully making the transition from Producer to Artist. Representing The Foreva Legacy, he is now focused on providing a message of hope for his listeners with prevailing themes of perseverance and resilience. With a sound influenced by several global genres, Sugarae has harnessed his ability to sing and rap, capturing the attention of Industry Curators at BBC Music Introducing and Ditto Music.
