Just shy of three years ago, and that’s when Saay Park set out on his journey of making the commitment to becoming a performer. Saay was very reserved and shy by nature, but he found himself inspired by many different artists like; Prince, Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, The-Dream, TLC, Usher, and Bob Marley. It was Missy Elliott that inspired him most of all, because she broke the mold and crashed through many stereotypes for a female artist. The lasting impression resonated with him strongly. He was born and raised in the Bronx, NYC, to Belizean parents. Saay has very strong showmanship energy as well, by offering a powerful stage set that also includes his “Saay Babes”, a fierce all-fem dance group that he performs with. In addition to being a singer, he’s a dancer and actor too. His passion and determination are equally matched with hard work. In 2017 Saay released two singles You a Pro” and “NFS” (No Funny Sh*t) which were instant hits. “I want to be able to show that you do not have to have a six-pack or a certain society-accepted look, to be taken seriously as a male singer. I want my music to be what people most remember me by, not if I fit the “cookie cutter” image; but that the music I presented, connected extremely well with my audience”. Saay released his current singles “Crazy Sexy Cool” and “Paradise” in early 2018 and they are catching a huge buzz
