Seek The Light

Starting into a new season with an artist making his solo label debut on Upon.You Records with this one but has been associated with the label family for quite a while now. The one we're talking about is Distale, Berlin-based DJ and producer, who is coming up with his new „Seek The Light EP“ these days. Opening with the original version of „Seek“ we see Distale provide a captivating take on banging Techno that's defo pledging allegiance to the dark side, weighing in marching drums, twisted rave stabs and a melodic, yet evol and threatening bass synth creeping up from lightless underground caverns to cause massive dancefloor devastation. Next up is Gunnar Stiller on a remix tip for „Seek“. Well familiar with the sound of Distale due to countless hours the two spent together in the studio throughout the past years his rework builds up loads of tension whilst adding futuristic bass clonks, tripping echo FX and a thrilling overall atmosphere to the dark'ish feel of the original tune. Finally there's „Light“, another pounding, timeless dancefloor killer perpetuating classic original Techno vibes with an energetic, precise stab sequence, warped vocal snippets and heaploads of peaktime energy for heaving crowds losing it in humonguos warehouse raves.
