"Singer-songer writer Niyola, former EME signee releases a brand new single “​Olumoranti” after a 3 year hiatus. Finally ready to break her silence by telling her story through music. Olumoranti​ entitled after her late father, translated as “​GOD, I REMEMBER”. ​The record is a true embodiment of the emotions felt around the loss of her dad. Produced by Piano P, Niyola co-wrote the song alongside the hit writer Moelogo. The soulful blend of English and her mother tongue (Yoruba) brings the song to life as one language can not fathom its depth. Olumoranti sonically epitomises the contemporary R&B and soul vibes, while staying true to the earthy African tones and rhythms that Niyola is renowned for.
