本场吴荻先生开说东吴老将黄盖，由曹孟德率（诈称）百万雄兵欲过大江说起。吴荻先生由战船夜宴文武说曹操志得意满、骄傲已极，将戏曲中曹操表演融入书中，奸雄作派如在目前，又批解“苦肉计”逻辑讹谬，并无实依据。黄盖作为江东已历三世的老将，祖上曾为南阳太守。史书记载其“姿貌严毅”，为官更是杀伐果决，深得人心。赤壁之战前曹操对月夜宴文武，饮至兴起横槊赋诗，一首独家全版《短歌行》惊艳四座，台上台下唱和一处不亦乐乎。说书人特在此处说明《三国志》有载赤壁火攻真正谏策人实为黄盖，此一战老将军当得首功。两军对战周瑜因旌旗拍面吐血而病，众人皆忧唯孔明泰然，吴荻先生扮马派孔明点破周瑜病因，承诺三日内借东风祝东吴军火攻破曹，于南屏山排摆七星坛祭风。说书人此处详说二十八星宿及七星坛排布，又说每逢节气必有天使变化乃先民遗智，贡献史上最详实“借东风”，干货满满令人叹服。十一月二十日夜东南风大作，黄盖率船依计诈降，曹操疑时已晚，八十三万大军一夜樯橹灰飞烟灭。更多精彩三国评书，尽在澄书馆《再说三国》！
