富贵歌楼舞榭，凄凉废冢荒台。万般回首化尘埃，只有青山不改。
《再说三国》开启下半程“魏蜀吴文臣篇”，吴荻先生以建安十六年“张松献地图”为引子，说刘璋听从张松建议欲请刘备入益州，略说刘备“枭雄恶鸟”之恶。刘备受邀入川联合刘璋抵御张鲁，对法正托须坦言，却终难决断。忽有一人挑帘笼而进指其“游移不定”为“愚人”。此人正是庞统，样貌奇特，面色被吴先生形容为“磨砂茄子皮”，开脸顺说环保竹篮，又因《三国志》所载庞统样貌细批汉语文字源意之妙。吴先生再驳“连环计”太露痕迹，非为史实，历史上庞统最重要献策乃“舍荆取益”，此亦为卧龙凤雏最大战略分歧。庞士元“少时朴钝”，幸有叔叔庞德公教诲，此公多有结交青年才俊，卧龙先生诸葛孔明及水镜先生司马德操皆在其列。庞统曾为功曹、县令，后终为刘备重用，说服刘备入益州。说书人由《三国志》与《三国演义》原文一字之差说刘备人设，实为“伪君子”。刘备依庞统中策夺下涪城，盛排筵宴载歌载舞，席间庞士元直语“非仁义之兵”惹刘备不快，说书人吴荻细批正史与《演义》细节差别，还原刘备小人嘴脸。刘备大军兵分两路欲取雒城，庞统走小路，刘备一再劝阻未果，临行换马谁知反成凶谶。一代军师三十六岁身死落凤坡，令人扼腕。
